Raw Food Distribution During Ramadan/Covid-19 Palliatives as part of its objective to reach out to the poor and less privileged during the Fasting period, and also cushion the effect of Covid-19, from April to May 2020, Amina Dikwa Foundation distributed raw foods and other essentials to hundreds of households across many States of Nigeria such as Borno, Yobe, Plateau, Kaduna and the FCT. This is to alleviate the hardships impacted upon Nigerians by the Covid-19 pandemic which incidentally meets the month of Ramadan.
Iftar Food Distribution Amina Dikwa Foundation provided cooked food, dates and water in several worship centres, and some vulnerable communities within the metropolis in Borno State, in-order to ensure proper and hygienic iftar for the poor and needy during the Fasting period. (Ramadan 2020)
Harmattan Clothing for Almajiris “Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day,.”___Sally Koch. It becomes necessary to look back and assist the less privileged children (Almajiris) of our dear society especially at a time when Harmattan is at it peak. On 15/01/2020, the management of Amina Dikwa Foundation together with its untiring volunteers visited two Almajiri school/settlements and donated sweaters, shoes, socks, hats, petroleum jellies, mats, kettles and other necessary items to over three hundred Almajiris and other vulnerable children of the community.
