Let’s Lend a helping hand to Orphans, Widows and victims of Insurgent groups

Let's Lend a helping hand to Orphans

Borno state that was ones known for its serenity has for some time now been experiencing the pains of the insurgency that has brought a lot of instabilities to our dear nation – Nigeria.

Many have flew the land as successive government try to restore the state to what she was once known for. The loss of lives and properties have left many without shelter, food or even jobs to make ends meet.

The often undesirable circumstances that surround many, particularly the orphans, children and those that are suffering from one form of health deformity or the other, calls for the real attention of all relevant stakeholders.

The Amina Dikwa Foundation has decided to take actions according to its strength in bringing solace to the suffering. The foundation believes in the power of being proactive.

Amina Dikwa Foundation is a non-profit organization with motivated professionals with the task of rendering services like skills acquisition, feeding, clothing, shelter, education, medical services, guidance and counseling, financial supports and other valuable life needs to the less privileged of the society.

As an organization, she has successfully carried out the following projects:

Meeting up to the cold challenges during the end of 2019 and beginning of 2020 harmatan season through a rapid response by providing woolen clothes, blankets, shoes, socks, caps to the almajiri’s and enlightening them on the health hazard caused by excessive low temperature.

This exercise was carried our in 2 almajiri schools at Wodiya, a village just behind 303 housing estate, with about 50 almajiris. This school was recently gutted by fire that led to loss of one of them. The other school is located at Jiddari with about 200 children. About 1000 items were distributed to the almajiris and other vulnerable members of the communities.

We are planning on a bigger project to touch more lives especially that of the less privileged ones and widows left with children to look after.

We kindly seek your generous donations towards the success of this initiative.
